Human Resources Generalist
We're partnering with a well-established organization seeking an HR Generalist who enjoys balancing both people-focused and operational HR responsibilities. This position offers the opportunity to support talent acquisition, employee onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, payroll support, and day-to-day employee relations.
The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and serve as a trusted resource for employees and leadership.
Job Duties
- Drive recruiting efforts from sourcing through hiring, partnering with hiring managers to attract top talent
- Manage onboarding activities to ensure a positive and compliant new hire experience
- Coordinate background checks, employment verifications, and pre-employment screening processes
- Support employee benefits programs, including enrollment activities and annual open enrollment
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements
- Assist employees and managers with general HR questions and policy interpretation
- Support payroll processing and timekeeping functions as needed
- Help administer workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and other employment-related matters
- Participate in employee offboarding activities, including separation documentation and exit discussions
- Contribute to process improvements and HR initiatives that support organizational growth
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities
- Strong understanding of HR fundamentals, employment law, and compliance practices
- Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage confidential information professionally
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred

- Pay: $65-75k/yr.
- Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm
